No. II · House favoriteMidnight 4K$69per yearBelow is our IPTV Smarters adult setup the way our support team does it on a call, plus how to lock the 18+ categories with Smarters Pro parental control. For adults 18 and over only.
The short answer
Pick Login with Xtream Codes API in Smarters Pro, enter the details from your welcome email, then open Settings and Parental Control to lock the 18+ categories in Live, Movies and Series. Your account PIN stays on top of that as a second barrier.
Act IWhy Smarters
Most of our customers who arrive already using an app are on Smarters Pro. That’s not because it’s the slickest player; TiviMate has the nicer guide on Android. It’s because Smarters is one of the few that installs on Apple devices and Fire TV alike, with the same screens and the same menus.
That consistency is useful for an IPTV Smarters adult setup. You learn where the lock lives once, and it’s in the same place on the phone you take to bed and on the box under the TV. You also get films and series in the same app as live channels, which matters if you use the adult on-demand library as much as the live channels.
Act II
Store availability changes with regions and TV models, so check your own store before you buy anything new.
Full app from the App Store or Play Store. The easiest place to test your login first.
Same app, larger layout. Good for checking categories before you set up the TV.
Available in many regions’ Amazon app store; otherwise installable through Downloader.
Smarters has a tvOS app. On Samsung and LG, availability varies by model year and country.
Desktop versions exist; VLC is a lighter alternative on a laptop.
Act III
Keep the email with your login on a second screen while you type; copying from a phone into a TV keyboard is where most typos happen.
Smarters opens on a choice of login methods. Tap the Xtream Codes API option (the exact label shifts a little from one release to the next).
Anything works. Households often use a neutral name so the profile list doesn’t announce what’s inside.
Copy them from the email character for character, with http:// at the front. A dropped port number after the colon is what usually makes Smarters refuse the login.
Smarters pulls live channels, films and series in turn. On a large lineup this takes a minute; a progress bar shows each part.
In Live TV, the 18+ categories are bunched together after the general ones. Opening any of them asks for the personal PIN from your welcome email.
The lock hides in the gear menu under a Parental heading (labels shift between releases). Pick a code nobody else in the house knows, then tick every 18+ category, tab by tab: Live first, then Movies, then Series.

Act VQuirks

If you upgrade, open the profile and reload content, or new adult categories won’t appear until the next automatic refresh.
With thousands of channels, the search icon in Live TV is quicker than scrolling a category from the top.
Smarters keeps separate favorites for live, films and series. Star the IPTV Smarters adult channels you watch so they sit in one short list.
If a 4K adult channel stutters on Wi-Fi, try the FHD version in the same category before blaming the player.
Add the login twice under two profile names. Use one for the 18+ side and keep the other plain, so whoever grabs the remote lands on news and sport.
Channels with replay show a catch-up option; Midnight 4K keeps 3 days, Lifetime VIP 7.

Act VIApple TV
Apple TV is where Smarters earns its place, because TiviMate doesn’t exist there. The tvOS version looks slightly different from the phone app: categories run down the left, and the lock settings sit under the gear icon rather than in a side menu.
Two things trip people up. First, the Siri Remote’s touch surface makes PIN entry fiddly; click rather than swipe on each digit. Second, an Apple TV 4K on Wi-Fi in a busy apartment building can struggle with 4K streams in the evening. If the 4K adult channels stutter while FHD plays fine, it’s the network, not the app. An Ethernet cable to the router fixes most of it. Our Apple TV and iPhone guide goes further into tvOS settings.
Act VIIOn demand
Smarters splits content into Live TV, Movies and Series, and the 18+ library appears in the Movies section as its own categories. This is where Smarters beats players built mainly for live TV: posters, a short description where one exists, and a resume point if you stop halfway.
Set the parental lock on the Movies tab separately. People lock live categories, forget the film side, and then find posters showing up in Recently Added. Ticking the adult film categories in the lock screen keeps them out of that row too on recent versions.

Act VIIIChoosing
Smarters is the safe default for an IPTV Smarters adult setup on Apple devices, and it’s the one we test first when a customer is unsure which player to trust. On Android TV and Fire TV, TiviMate gives a faster guide and finer group control, and some customers run TiviMate on the main TV with Smarters on their phone. Our TiviMate adult setup guide covers that side.
If you’re still choosing, the adult IPTV app comparison lays out the players side by side, including what each does well with locks and big lineups.
